Privacy statement under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Draft, last updated November 2026.
1. Who is responsible
Neotron Productions e.U., Neil Carelse, Graz, Austria. Full details are in the imprint.
Privacy questions: hello@neotronproductions.at
COLLAB is an independent project. It is not run by the City of Graz or any of the organisations shown.
2. Website delivery
The website is hosted via Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated AB, Stockholm, Sweden). To deliver and secure the site, technical data such as your IP address, browser, pages visited and time of access is processed. The hosting platform may set technically necessary cookies. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Your language and light/dark theme choice are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device.
Fonts and the training guide are served from this website itself.
3. AI assistant
When you use the assistant (“Ask”), the text you type is sent to our server and passed to an AI model (Google Gemini) through the Lovable AI Gateway to generate an answer. The model provider may process requests outside the EU. We do not store your questions or the answers.
Your IP address is held briefly in server memory to limit misuse (rate limiting) and is not stored.
Please don’t enter personal data. Answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in offering the assistant.
4. Ecosystem data
Organisation, capability and opportunity data comes from a shared workbook hosted on Google Sheets. Our server fetches it; your browser does not connect to Google. The workbook contains information about organisations, not about website visitors.
If your organisation is listed and you want something corrected or removed, write to hello@neotronproductions.at.
5. Interactive map (Kumu)
The innovation map is provided by Kumu, Inc. (USA). It only loads after you click “Load interactive map”. From then on, Kumu receives your IP address and browser data under its own privacy policy, and data may be transferred to the USA. Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by clicking. Reload the page to stop the map from loading.
6. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hello@neotronproductions.at. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.
